Pisky-led: a guided walk with stories
Date: 06 Jul 2017 - 2:00 to 2:45pm
Venue: Penlee House Gallery
Stories run deep in the Cornish landscape. Almost every hill, carn and rock has a tale to tell. Join Adrian Rodda and Lucy Cooper on an expedition into the wild moors and tales of West Penwith. Step off the map and enter the uncharted realm of folktales and faerie. Visit the Hooting Carn where a dark rider wrestles other-worldly opponents. Discover secret portals to fairyland. Hear tales of handsome, mysterious Bob of the Carn, and of fairy feasts and revellery.
Prepare to be pisky-led on a merry dance on a tour of tales from the area’s rich folklore, taking in fairy mounds, wild moors, and ancient megaliths along the way.
