Patricia Le Gallez
Patricia Le Gallez – I was born into an Anglo/Italian family in Leeds just before WWII. Then at the age of 19, I took a train to Penzance and almost on impulse decided to swap the industrial North for the Cornish way of life. Once here I commenced training as a nurse, at the West Cornwall Hospital. This was the start of a varied professional life in nursing which also led to the publication of many professional papers including writing and editing two significant text books on rheumatology nursing.
