Jerome Knox

Jerome Knox is studying on the Masters Opera Course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with his teacher Scott Johnson and coach Paul Plummer. He is grateful to be the inaugural recipient of the Gleneagles Scholarship at the RCS.

Jerome is a Masters graduate of the Royal College of Music where he studied with Russell Smythe and previously read Classical Studies at the University of Edinburgh.

Operatic roles include: The title role in Don Giovanni (Hampstead Garden Opera); Leporello Don Giovanni, Oreste Iphigénie en Tauride (Euphonia); Melisso Alcina (Ryedale Festival); Schaunard La Bohème (Magnetic Opera); Don Pomponio La Gazzetta, Le Fauteuil L’enfant et les Sortilèges (RCMIOS); Masetto Don Giovanni (Co-opera).

Solo performances include: Handel’s Messiah, Vaughan Williams’s Five Mystical Songs, Fauré’s Requiem, Duruflé’s Requiem, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Bach’s Johannes-Passion, Wachet auf, B Minor Mass and Weihnachtsoratorium. Jerome will perform the role of Marcello in La Boheme at the Rye Arts Festival this summer.
