Louisa Young was born in London and educated there and at Cambridge. She has published 12 books in up to 36 languages, and is half (alongside her daughter) of the children’s author Zizou ‘Lionboy’ Corder. Louisa’s first book was a biography of her grandmother Kathleen Scott, sculptor and widow of Scott of the Antarctic. Her next is a memoir, a love story about cancer and alcoholism.
Louisa is currently having a late career development in songwriting, and her first album will be released in 2018. She lives in London and goes out with the novelist Michel Faber.
