Sally Crabtree

Sally Crabtree from Mousehole is an international performance poet/artist who has been described as “Profoundly original – one of Britain’s richest inventions” (Lars Gustafsson , nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature ) and “Exhilarating!” ( BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour ) due to her innovative approach in presenting poetic art installations to a wide and diverse audience. She recently performed as the Poetry Postie at the UN’s 70th year celebrations at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and visited Japan to work with UNESCO prize winning poet Hiroshi Taniuchi, where the idea for their CreativiTEA collaboration was sown.


Established in 2010, Penzance Literary Festival has grown into one of the UK's favourite festivals for authors and visitors.
