Wyl Menmuir

Wyl Menmuir was born in 1979 in Stockport. He lives on the north coast of Cornwall with his wife and two children and works as a freelance editor and literacy consultant and is also writer in residence at Richard Lander School, Truro. When he’s not writing, you’ll find him out on the water or up on the cliffs – anywhere there’s a view of the sea. Wyl found the inspiration for the setting of his debut novel, The Many, in the villages, coves and coastline around west Cornwall.

Established in 2010, Penzance Literary Festival has grown into one of the UK's favourite festivals for authors and visitors.
