Linda lived in Lincoln for many years, but has been in West Cornwall since 1987 and moved to Penzance in 1994. She was an English teacher for 36 years, and worked at Mullion School from 1987 until her retirement in 2014. Favourite authors include Cynan Jones, Richard Holmes (the biographer) and Hilary Mantel. Linda threatens to one day publish a series of books, the working title of which is “The Invention of Penzance”. She enjoys writing, theatre, train journeys, cakes and ale – and can be seen, on high days and holidays, parading around Penzance with a top hat, frock coat and concertina.
